Some of you may be wondering precisely what is meant by 'soul-centred astrology.' For me it signifies approaching someone's natal and/or progressed chart from a holistic viewpoint in order to glimpse the inner spiritual being as well as the outer personality. Experience has shown me that when this is done, it is usually easier to discover an individual's most rewarding path in life and offer useful advice on how best to achieve that state of fulfilment and contentment.

Astrology may be called a science by some, an art by others. Personally I feel it falls somewhere in the middle - and certainly the method of interpretation as practiced today owes as much to intuition as it does to scientific analysis. However, whatever one calls it, the proof of the pudding is in the eating and if something proves to be helpful in our lives, then its existence is justified and worthwhile. If someone looks to astrology or fortune telling or clairvoyance, or indeed anything outside of themselves, to supply all the answers, to solve all their problems or correctly say how they should be living their lives, then they are going to be disappointed and disillusioned. However, if one approaches the subject with an open and enquiring mind, with a desire to discover more about themselves and the forces at work around them, then astrology is one tool of many that aids the process of self-discovery and greater awareness.

You don't NEED astrology in your life - but it's extremely helpful! Astrology as we know it is an imperfect science, but it can and does tell us quite a lot about our personalities and what is going on in our lives. Perhaps the greatest benefit to be derived from astrology is bringing to our conscious awareness things about ourselves and our lives that subconsciously we may already know. Conscious awareness will give us more control over our destiny.
In all of our lives are presented definite opportunities for inner growth and greater understanding and astrology is one path of many which endeavours to shed further light on what these opportunities may be.

Understanding and seeing ourselves objectively is a far from easy task. It's rather like playing pass the parcel - every now and then you get a chance to unwrap one layer, only to find yet another one beneath. The astrologer's role could be regarded as having someone who is able to describe some of the patterns on the various sheets of wrapping paper and maybe even hint at the contents of the package. However, it has to be you yourself who unwraps it.
For many people, receiving their horoscope and studying and thinking about it, is the first step to uncovering who they really are and remembering their purpose in life and the unique contribution they have to offer.

A Mind, Body and Spirit reading is prepared by myself in exactly the same way as I do all other charts. However, it will contain more of a deeper nature as I endeavour to look beneath the obvious outer personality in order to discover more about your spiritual journey. In addition to the areas that are normally analysed, this will also include a chakra reading, highlighting those areas of your psyche that are working well (and those that may require some attention).
