Predictions

PREDICTIONS - or as I prefer to call them, future trends, can be assessed once accurate birth details are known. Time of birth is crucial to the skill of accurate predictions, particularly when it comes to life-changing events such as marriage, births, house moving etc., but even without this vital clue, it is possible to outline likely future events and experiences.

An astrological forecast can be helpful in giving you some insight and understanding of the events, opportunities, tests and choices that are entering your life.

There may be some events or certain relationships in our lives that were 'destined' to be, but even if this is true, it does not take away our free will to shape our future. Every day could be a new beginning for us if we so desire it. The past is gone and we cannot change it. The future is hidden - or is it? Surely the future is determined to a great extent by our actions in the present; and this we have the ability to change.

If we thought that all future events were pre-destined and bound to occur, we'd become fatalistic and probably wouldn't bother trying to change things because they are 'going to happen anyway.'

Astrological predictions of any kind are a mixed blessing: on the one hand they tell you of likely opportunities and benefits that could be coming your way, but on the other hand, they foretell periods of anxiety or possible difficulties. For this reason, 'predictions' are not for the faint-hearted. For myself, curiosity alone is sufficient to make me read my progressions and transits each year. However, I try to maximise the positive opportunities that I hope are coming into my life and hope to learn something from any problem periods.
